Having a faux wheely bike myself I gotta' say that those things must have been a hoot.
Those were certainly different times, besides the general lack of safety gear, the bare feet are especially unnerving!

I've managed to use a skate truck so I can steer. Longest wheely so far is .33 mile.

boy times sure have change. looks like the young daredevil is a dying breed.
the bicycle helmet , elbow/knee pads and shoes,suck all sorts of cool outta standing on your seat and doing a wheely

That video is under my favorites on youtube. It's weird how different the safety was compared to now days (No helmets, Crazy stunts, etc). 1966 compared to 2008, what'cha gonna do.
