Here is a bike I did this summer for a young lady in my youth group. She is partial to pirate stuff, so I painted it pearl white, black seat and grips, and put pirate fabric on the fenders with a new black basket up front.

here's Gabby with the Pearl

Fabric Idea is brilliant. Painted designs on fenders look great but hard to do. Fabric would accomplish the same thing. Please explain the process and how do you seal it?

I used spray adhesive and then sealed it with a couple of coats of UV resistant clear. I then cleared it with auto clear. I think the resin would probably do a better job than paint, cuz I put 6 or 7 coats of clear on it, and it never got smooth. I did a sample fender before I did Gabs, and I tried a light sanding on it with real fine grit paper and it didn't sand well.

Because of the fuzzy pic, the chainring is actually a GT bmx chainring. It has little GT's all over it. I didn't actually cover the chainring. That would be an option on a flat chainring with no slots or holes though.
