The Persons MFG CO Worcester Mass. USA Motor/Bike seat

I was given this seat to refinish and keep, it is just so amazing It was really dry, I used babey oil(non scented) leather cleaner and Dubbin to bring it back. I am still working on it. The springs and frame are going to be media blasted and then repainted.

Could somone help me with info about the seat?

the seat is embossed both sides with two heraldic lions and much leather work finery holding a crest saying

On the top at the back it says

This is going on a bike I am in negotiations in obtaining.

Anyone have any tips or suggestions they are welcome.

persons made a lot of seats, i believe they made the solo polo stingray seats too. early 60s, and i know ive seen there name pop up plenty of time on all kinds of styles or bike seats.

I can get one up, right now I am letting it dry. I really soaked it good. So it needs time to get back to it's happy self. also the springs and everything are getting media blasted so I will have pics up next week sometime.
