Alright ladies and gents, here's another board track racer straight off the design works. I special designed the board track racer off the idea that in the distant future if motorcycle builders wanted to pay homage to board track racers, what would it look like? I may have an answer, pictures will be up soon. Oh yea, I forgot, its a hybrid.

its about time, let me tell yall a story. About 2 weeks after finishing my ratrod board track racer, i began to have some fun with it. But then, noticed something. The torque from my engine began to twist my frame up like a paper clip. Once again, back to the design room. With me already having built a ratrod board track racer(tried to be modern but you see how that turned out), I needed something different. With board track racers having a amazing racing pedigree, I knew what to build. I took the idea of what would board track racers look like if motorcycle builder twenty years into the future decided to pay homage to them. I thought about it and when I came home from church, I went to work. The outcome is something serious, an engineering feat
From the last story, you can see that people dont have much faith in me, or they think im just crazy, including my family. So after much dicussion of designs with Mr. Dunson, I ordered the tubing and set out to work.
I got the tubing some weeks ago, made a floor jig and finished welding up my frame today. Ive realised that people dont have much faith in me, oh well built with non-believers in mind
But theres one problem, I need a rear triangle and girder fork, any ideas?
Future Boardtrackers would make a great genre. Speedway motorcycles resemble a modern version of a boardtracker to me. I envisioned disk brakes, mini fairing and fuel injection on a future boardtracker but your idea of a hybrid is better. Are you using a hub motor for electric power or something more complicated?
I don't think it'll be hard to steer but it will be a bone shaker it looks like it'll lean like a crotch rocket but layed out like a chopper kinda confuseing but if that weld breaks on the seat its going to hurt the baby maker bad
Ok everyone, since its February and its black history month, I have a lot of school projects to do. One day while in class, a thought popped in my mind, Where there ever an african american board track racers in history? I asked Coach Mac, social studies teach, and he didn't even know what board track racing was. So I went to google and did some research, i found my answer. There was african american board track racers in Atlanta, Georgia; they raced at Lakewood Speedway back in the teens(thanks to the guy at The Vingent Blogspot). With in mind, I changed my whole entire black history project and focused it on these three men: Hall "Demon Wade" Ware, Horace "Midnight" Blanton, and Bones "The Outlaw". And as a added plus I found the original article featuring them in the now defuct Motorcycling and Bicycling. And now, I am dedicating my bike to these men, who was almost left out of history and I am making my bike a part of my project as a modern interpetation.
Progress after destroying a couple bikes, i got a rear end and now after jacking up the front fork its on now:

I think you should study on rake & trail I think you will have trouble if you don't. Here is a couple sites........Curt

OK. So you didn't take our advice the first time, and you found out it didn't work.
Now you are doing the same thing. The fork will not work. You need to put a brake up there.
That motor is too large. Your materials are too weak.
Order a 2-stroke engine kit and put that on there first. You will learn a lot, and it'll be great practice.
