Can't believe I scored this, got it in a trade. Complete shiny red Schwinn Bantam. Checked the serial number appears to be a 1980, produced in April. Been looking for a nice one of these for a while and usually they are all beat up, and generally missing the removable center bar. The only thing this one needs is a lite cleaning, a couple adjustments and a rear reflector. Housing is there reflector is not. Can't wait to park it with all my other Classic Schwinn's.
It even has what look like to be its original whitewall/stripe Schwinn tires still, and the pedals look hardly used.
