Buzzy, it was funny. There were actually a couple of different people who said they were interested in the frame, but they had no idea where to get the other parts to put a bike together or how to even go about doing it.
The words "chopper" and "lowrider" got their attention, but they really weren't bike builders, so no one ever followed through on buying it.
So Paul figured he really got the parts he wanted in the first place so why not use the remaining frame to build something else. It had a nice laid back seat post and a sturdy rear frame section, so it worked out fine and the bike turned out pretty good.
He said his wife really likes it - so that was the main thing.
I'm looking forward to digging back through these arhives and finding the beginnings of @Uncle Stretch 's Colson builds. I know they all started with the frame he bought from you.
