thy sky was thick with the moisture of a aummer storm, a sweat drip from the brow could be heard splitting the floor in the silence, even the pulse of the red stop lights seemed to slow as we pulled out tires to the line. or not.decided it was time for a good ole downhill running rush race.

here was the track, about 1/4 mile downhill in four lanes with no real traffic. first one to the bottom wins.

now i have the video, and it will give you the results and show just how fast it was, but its taking forever to load.

You were flying! That poor camera took a beating.
haha, its funny you mention that it really took a beating when it got dropped on the way home and slid into the middle of the street. dented the case and has afew scratches, but its okay!

I'm building a cafe just for this purpose right now. Here in Albuquerque the Sandia mountians is just east of the city and just about a 20 min. ride to the top in a car. From the top you drop down a steep two line road about one thousand feet in just three miles. Lots of hair pin turns knee draging stuff. Then about another thousand feet in ten miles. I get perma grin after the first run, I will post a vid on its first ride very soon. Heres the bike.

The audio was scary! Every time it went whack/thump or smack I expected peeling flesh and grinding metal.

The sound of the tires is cool, but here is an idea. Put the camera on the slower bike that way we can see the guy in front and get a better feeling of the speed
