A few new acquisitions and Baron Von Beer Run waiting for a new rear wheel.

Yup, I'm a proud garbage digger. My neighbors think I'm crazy. Honestly.

This is where the magic happens. With my crude tools. And Mr. Bubble.

I'm slowly building up quite a war chest. Now I need some workable men's frames, 'cuz I got everything else.

Wheels? Heck yeah! Got a few non-coaster 3-Speeds I'd be willing to let go, and a couple Bendix keepers. Keeping the skinny fronts for... umm... skinny fronts?

And these are just the project bikes. My girl and I have 3 other daily runners currently. It's a sickness I tells ya! Luckily, friends are starting to ask me to throw together rats for them. Maybe I can turn a hobby into a cottage industry?

As long as I keep scoring parts, I guess you are right. Until I run out of space.

Cheapest, most rewarding hobby ever. Why I haven't been doing this forever is beyond me. And, after seeing two of my bikes, friends want their own. Crazy.

You seem perfectly normal, most likely your neighbors have a problem :)

About a year ago, one of my neighbors bought a Townie. It was almost exactly like mine. I had to sit his kid down and explain that his dad was a copycat. Then I started building bikes just to have something different than the Joneses next door.

And now I got the sickness.

haha... my tools are about same. i keep bumming tools off my dad. at least you have a table to work on. all i got is the driveway and front porch. :?

Slacker, yer a funny dude...but I like you! Son,from viewing yer pics, you do not know what "OUT OF HAND" is really all about.Heck...you can still see your floor and you have working space on your table top there.
I do not allow most anyone in my shop or garage as I'm afraid they'll pick something up or move a part and it will become lost to me!My poor wife has a 8" wide path to the basement door so's she can haul laundry up & down the basement stairs where she has to endure yet another path to the washer & dryer. No my young friend...you are not "OUT OF HAND" yet...but you are well on your way so keep up the good work.I know where just about every part &/or tool is as long as nobody messes with my "pile" method of inventory.C'mon all you fellow Greybeards out there...what do YOU say?!?!? 8)
