Question, is it possible to install a 1 1/8 Threadless set of triple tree forks in an old huffy frame?

It’s probably gonna be some trial and error with headsets and spacers but it probably can be done. Also you may have to cut the head tube down to fit.

Using calipers, measure the inside diameter of the tube in the frame that the forks pass through. The cups should be removed before measuring

Like @MattiThundrrr said. Knock out your old cups, measure the inside diameter of your head tube and follow the instructions on that web link I left. They are top notch quality and give you the ability to slide your 1.125 tube into an older setup. I've used them several times and I know for certain @kingfish254 has as well.
