Washed up the frame last night with soap and a brillo pad. The pics are not great but this frame has nice fading, paint chips, cracking. It will look great with some linseed oil.

God willing, I can start putting it together now. I am putting it that way because this build before changing frames has been difficult and at church the other day we were studying and reflecting these verses in James 4:13Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”— 14yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. 15Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.” 16As it is, you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.

This was just helping me to put God's plan first then this fun bike build he has blessed me with! Such a great site with great people! BTB!
