Hi RRB,
complete and total newbie member yet longtime lurker here. I'm building a boardie and I wanted to buy Fat Franks for my build, Schwalbe says they're 26"x2.35". So here's the deal: does that refer to inside diameter or outside diameter? As in, will 26" wheels fit in those tires?

I think this is the right place to ask this, if not, maybe some kind mod would be able to shift this to where it belongs ^-^
Thanks.

With bicycle tires the sizing always refers to the outside diameter.
Those tires will fit on most standard size cruiser/mtb rims but not the odd sized Schwinn S7 and the like.

You will see in the description of the tires there will also be a number something like 60-559, that is the total width in mm (60mm) and the bead seat diameter in mm, 559mm is the bead seat diameter for standard size cruiser wheels.

Hope that helps.

Luke.
