Hello All-

I have a 50's Rollfast and which is bone stock down to the tires. My question is this: The original tires read 26 x1.75 - 2.125. What is the appropriate tire for this bike? 1.75? What is the largest tires that I can run on these rims? The rims seem more narrow than my Dyno roadster which runs 2.125. Should I stick with 1.75? I am looking at brown schwalbe road cruisers. Will these fit? What do you guys recommend?

The rims should take 2.125 easily. The limiting factor will be clearance between the sidewall of the tire and the frame. Some Rollfast frames have plenty of room for balloons, some don't. Measure where the tire goes, and/or post photo.

Hhmm. That designation (with a range) may be found on tubes, but a tire is going to be labeled with a single size, either 26 X 1.75 or 26 X 2.125 or something' else. Have fun!

If it's a 50's Rollfast then 2.125 should fit fine. But a pic of the bike would help.
