'Tis the Season to haul your Christmas tree by bike!
My family's tradition has been to go cut a tree down from the forest, no farms here. This year it was not in the cards, so my son and I bought a tree and hauled it home by bike. We went to a tree lot that was close to home and benefitted the the Boise Rescue Mission, the local homeless shelter. The workers were very curious about the bike and more than willing to help me load it up. The ride home was fine as long as I didnt' make any sudden movements. The load becomes pretty "whippy" because of the weight and length.
Later in the day, we went to the state Capitol to hear Tuba Christmas.
