I don't know. the fork fits, but do I really need another bike that I dont have time to ride?

Sure, why not. They are fun to display and look at :D

I have about 5 set up around the house but haven't ridden any of them this summer due to a bum knee.
 
I'd save the fork for something I will ride more often. That bike is the start of a great build though. I'd put the vintage fork back on it and go in another direction. But that's just me; Klunkers are cool but I don't feel the need to have more than one. But if Klunkers are all you're into, build it up and if you decide to get rid of it later I'm sure it won't be a hard sell at the right price. I guess it depends on how much the build will cost, and whether the enjoyment you get from the bike is greater than or equal to the total loss after you sell.
