Went to a swap meet today found a couple of bikes and got a couple more from 65rat
From what I can tell a 1961 24" Huffy Galaxie

Not Sure what year 26" Cleveland Welding Skip tooth frame

Serial Number A68743

1959 Amf Pilot 26" womens bike ( use to be my Grandma's bike) and a 1973 Schwinn Collegiate Camel back

Can anyone help with the year on the Cleveland frame? maybe what store it was made for? I know its kind of hard being it doesn't have a chain guard or headbage

Regarding the CWC frame, it looks alot like my 1949 Roadmaster....I don't see a Cw or an ACw after the frame #, so that could mean it's either older than mine, say 1947 or 1948, or maybe even pre-war. Of course I'm only guessing, it might be newer, maybe the lack of the Cw means it's an AMF bike, but the rear dropouts look like the ones my bike has.

The Cleveland Welding frame (A68743) has a chain ring that is typical for CWC bikes branded for Western Autos stores and sold as Western Flyers. The serial number equates to 1947 by my serial number/date model and the style of the dropouts and seat binder clamp are the type used at that time.

thank you that's alot of help I could'nt figure out what year it was the guy told me it was a pre-war frame, but I just liked that style of frame and had to have it

From my experience, many people who are trying to sell a frame with chain adjusters automatically assume it's pre-war. BTW, if you need those chain adjusters, I have an extra couple.

Yeah I was under the impression that was what it meant to but I'm glad that this forum is here to help. I am needing some of those adjusters let me know how much you want for them

I can't imagine a pair of chain adjusters are worth much, but by averaging what I'm seeing them for on Ebay I'll say $17 shipped. Hopefully you don't live in Alaska.

They're not even rusty

Was this an auto swap meet?
Yes it was but there was probably 15-20 bicycles there some old some new but the majority were old ones that seemed way overpriced, I actually went up there to find some parts for my old cars but found bikes instead
