I jumped a '63 New Yorker and literally bent it in to the point where the wheels didn't touch the ground afterwards. Rusted out chassis and a 413 did a number on it. I wish still had that car today.

I tried that with a friend's '69 charger........Took me a while to pay him back after the dukes of hazard stunts. They just don't hold up like on the show. :roll:

If you watch the reruns, you'll notice they cut to a different shot, just as the General touches down. Sometimes you can even see the front of the car start to fold up! They went through a few hundred Chargers over the course of the series!! :lol: -Adam
