I recently posted pics of a Toscana three speed bike. I wondered where it was made. After a closer look I found this...
It says Made in Germany.
Notice the neat lock that pushes in between the spokes , preventing the rear wheel from turning.In this photo you can see the holes in the edge of the rear fender , for skirt guards.I have decided to restore this bike and would like to recreate the skirt guards.Where can I find some info ? What would the skirt guards have been made of?
The three speed hub is different from any that I have in my collection. It clicks into the three positions. It also has coaster brakes. 8)
