Since I seem to always get a bunch of Target gift cards for Christmas, I was thinking of picking this up to take my daughter for a real bike ride. Otherwise she rides and I have to walk since her top speed is about .5 mph. lol Could also use it for my 4 month old when he gets bigger, and then it could be used as a good hitch for a trailer of some sort. This is a cool idea I think!

It is a cool idea. A few years ago (2), I used to walk my bike while my youngest granchildren would be riding (?)....NOW I'm screaming at them to SLOW DOWN.

Those always show up on classifieds for pretty cheap, I've considered buying one to make a hauler but haven't so far. They definitely beat the pull behind child carriers in that the kids can actually do something and see whats going on around them more clearly.

Those are way cooler than the ride along bike sort of things that you usually see. This one allows you to go for a ride with the kids with them on their own bikes. Then when they tire out, you can just tow them the rest of the way.

cool idea.

Be sure that the little bike has a coaster brake, so that the little guy can pedal and coast as he needs to to keep up with you.

I say this because the little bike I got for the grandchild has a direct rear wheel like a tricycle with a chain. The wheel goes round and round and the pedals do too, no coast. baby fixie! :D

Wow, yeah I don't think that sounds real safe being pulled behind an adult bike! lol Thanks for the heads up, I checked and we are all good! :D
