Hey Everyone, this is my first post (besides my intro). I found this trailmate on fbMP and was able to buy for $80. It's old and needs some work but is fully rideable. I am looking to restore - thinking powder coating, and also would like to put max tire size that these rims would allow. Any suggestions, comments advice would be awesome!!! Also would love to hear some color schemes! It's going to be used in a beach town so was thinking old-school cruiser colors ?
I have pics and measurements of pretty much the whole bike if anyone wants to see more, hahaa. I honestly think it will be a fun bike to use in our beach town riding with my son's to and from the bay.. planning on redoing the rack on the back and adding some fishing rod holders.. Was even thinking of building a wooden bed instead of the rack like an old-school pickup?
