Just a little recognition for a brilliant designer, Viktor Schreckengost, (1906-2008).
He was Murray's chief bicycle designer for a number of years, as well as a designer of many other things people use in their daily lives. I found these images on his website: http://www.viktorschreckengost.org/
They are concept drawings for bikes that I assume never got built.
that last one almost looks like it ended up being built as the Mercury:
And of course, his most famous bicycle, and my personal favorite bicycle, the Spaceliner:
