trike for a guy with cerabal palsy

his trike got stolen and my buddy and i are trying to get him another one. an axle kit or anything would work and be appreciated.


i know i dont post much but thought someone might wanna help

I've got a nice foam comfort seat from a older hybred bike to donate to the build if that will help.

I have an adult trike frame but no rear end. The J step through type.

it sucks he hates riding his wheel chair everywhere and the family is low income. what with me and my buddy having full familys ourselfs were pretty tapped out as well. if it was a normal bike id have it covered but he cant ride a normal bike

are the trike frames different then a normal 20/26 inch frame? if not then i have i think its a 26 inch frame i can use and just convert

Like this, easy step through, you know, older people or special needs who cant really get on a normal bike frame. Or just get a local ladys frame and bolt it to a trike rear end.

i think i still have a set of wheels like that ,,they r off of a trike .. the hub slips over the axle ..where is cottage hills located ? im down near bloomington/normal /peoria area ....LMK

i went through my stuff and all i have is an old girls bike frame so we pretty much need everything.

everyone in the town knows him so it was kind of unbelievable when it came up missing. believe me if we could figure pout who took it we'd have it back no cops involved.

Walmart now lists the Schwinn Meridian adult trike for $199.99, shipped to the store. That's probably almost as cheap as a conversion kit would be. I wish you good luck with this. It takes a truly heartless scum to take a bike from a person with a handicap.

Rev. - Before I send down the Seat, have you conciderered just raising the $$$ and buying this man a Trike? If so, I'm happy to make a cash donation in place of sending parts.

Times are hard for everyone these days me included but between your community and the good people on this forum you might be able to raise the $$$.
