Tring to figure out bike Western Flyer, higgins,sears? 1960?

I just brought home a bike think its a flightliner but not sure. It has blue grips that say western flyer. The frame serial num starts with 502. Im trying to put pics on but not having any luck. Any advice for pics would be great first day on this site Thanks again.

Here is another angle. Any advice on this bike would be great I tried cleaning it up and you can see flightliner on chain guard i took the paint off to the chrome and can see old impression. Not sure if removing the paint was a good idea

Murray built JC Higgens Flightliner. Just guessing '60 or '61. They are some of my favorite frames. Welcome aboard!

'MOD 502' is a code stamped on all Murray built Sears bikes from the 50s on. The 5 dgit # after that will be the catalog #, and it can usually be narrowed down by that. Definitely a 60-64. -Adam
