Troll doll bicycle grips

I just picked up a '66 Bantam with a set of these on there. I'll get some pics up this weekend. Has anyone ever seen these before?

It does seem like I remember them. I think they were from late 60s early 70s. There were so many cool grip back in the day. I had the Tiger head grips that I think came from Exxon. My cousin had 6 shooter pistol grips on his bike, along with a saddle.

I saw a set of Troll Grips on the 'bay years ago.Big $$$!

I bought a complete "original" 60's Schwinn 20" off C/L just for the Tiger Head Esso Grips.

I still have them.


The bike with replaced black grips went to my bud.

Well Im not going to post a picture BUT I do have a nice pair of purple Troll grips
Just Identical to the ones above .... but purple. I haven't figured what kinda theme they fit into lol.
Haven't Installed them on anything yet, just installed them into the box of other cool grips collection box for keeping. .... proably shouldn't say but I paid a Quarter for the set at a garauge sale.
Was waundering is there any common products that would soften these things up just soaking them in it ??
