truss fork ideas?

No welding thread :roll: ......But I think this fork looks good and Tough 8)
Think the bike is a Trek prototype 8)

These were made with 5/16 rolled stock, with an acorn nut welded to the ends. The other ends are welded to a 1/4 inch thick steel washer....

Once the acorn nuts (stainless) were welded to the ends. I bolted them in place. With the 1/4 inch washer in place (on steering tube), with two notches cut out, put rods in notches, weld. Then take a grinder or cutting wheel and trim the "extra" length from the top..

Or this. Made from the supports from a Spaceliner rear rack.

Love the look of the last fork, but that doesn't really steer... it leans right? I guess going straight it's nice, but slow would be a booger.

Not sure what you mean...It steers.

Yeah, it steers, I just rode mountain and bmx bikes for so long, the tire is usually right under the steerer, with it out front like that, when you turn the handlebars the front end sways, just something to get use to riding.
