I just purchased this truss rod top bracket from eBay.

I plan on fabbing the truss rod(s). It looks like instead of two separate rods, it's a 'U'-shaped single rod. I'm just wondering if anyone has seen this type before and knows which 'path' i should run the path along, 'A' or 'B'.

I hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance forthe input!

Cheers!

Haven't seen that one before , but bet it was a two part one. Without the other part , there is nothing to hold the strut rod in. You might have to drill a hole in it and put a small strap on the bottom.

i have the same truss rod setup from a girls elgin. there should be a bottom part to the bracket that forms a clamshell when installed. it is for a one piece truss rod. i`ll dig one out tomorrow and take a few pics! :D if you dont have the bottom half of the bracket,i think i might have an extra one you could have.

This is my thinking also.

i dug around in a box of truss rods and came up with two sets! if you need the bottom half of the bracket,i`ll send it to you. also have the one piece truss in two different sizes,if you want one.
