I got this from The flying Dingo on Sun. I think its a Schwinn model C but, I'm not sure. Any help would be appreciated. It has the serial number on the bottom bracket and starts with 5 A . The crank has a bar cast in the center where the numbers and letters should be. The only thing I can make out is the letter H and maybe the number 6.
In the picture you can see where Dingo started to remove the black paint which revealed the original red with white scallops.

I don't think the seat or the handlebars are original. The seat looks like a girls model and the bars look to new.

man.....dingo just keeps letting these thing go

It looks like a '35-'36 Cycleplane / Motorbike. If the rear fender is correct, that's some serious coin. The '35 frames have some kind of distinguising characteristics, after '36 had a curved downtube.

Thanks guys. I poked around on the CABE and Dave's vintage bicycles and kind of came to the same conclusion. Sensor, the rear drop-outs do look like the ones in your picture. Thanks again. :D

It could also be a '37 CA107, or a '38 or '39 BC117, or a '39 BC97. Your frame is pictured for all these other models in the '37, '38, and '39 Schwinn catalogs. The straight lower bar frame survived until '41, but only on 20" and 24" bikes for the last two years. B607
