Ok so I'm in with the Twinns so why not? Going all in and building in all 3 categories simultaneously this winter. I have the Mini Twinn tandem in the Muscle bike catagory, I have the Twinn Deluxe Twinn 5 speed in the skinny tire class, and the Schwinn Twin in the off road class! This is gonna be epic!

Going to be picking up the starting project this Tuesday and making this one "Twinn Peaks"

Dude, I just sold a tandem, I still have 3 left and wish I had zero. 😂

More power to you building 3.
When you have a Mini Twinn they are much cooler than when you don't.

Triplets in the Triple Threat Build Off? Only seems right!

Well tandem number 3 is home and well. Looks like it will clean up nicely and it has the optional 2 speed kickback so that's awesome. I'm really struggling with the idea of repainting this one and the deluxe both. I might just clean them up and run with it. I think the only things I'll need on this one is bolts for the wheels, a strap for the brake arm, and tires and tubes.

cool, ya made me wanna build a tandem ha ha ha !
They are great fun just a pain to store. I have a large storage unit so it's not an issue for me anymore... Well kinda... I need to sell a few and organize things better. 24 bikes (3 of which are tandems) and counting...lol

Ok so ran into a bit of a snag but I'm gonna make the best of it. I want to use the original drivetrain that came on this bike which is the 2 speed kickback but the rims are S-7 aka
26 x 1 3/4 so tire selection is limited. I did find some tires that are 26x2x1 3/4 that will be a little fatter than stock. So ordering these Friday.

So these lights went on clearance at work so I got this for just under a buck. Had this piece off of an old baseball trophy I got in a huge lot for $5 at a yard sale. So a little rat rodding later I've got a cool one off taillight.

had to cut out a winged circle for the light to drop and twist into.

Tires are ordered and should be in soon. Going out of town Tuesday on a bike rescue so it will be Friday before I get any time to work on bikes. Hopefully the weather is nice and I can stop buying bikes long enough to actually fix the ones I have but deals keep popping up around me and I can't say no to a good deal and there's always room for one more vintage bicycle.

Took her for her first ride today and broke a chain but fixed it and it rides great. Going to get new chains for it eventually. The larger 2 inch wide tires are perfect but I had to adjust the fenders quite a bit to clear so may bob the fenders.
