Un rat related Fuji ecco.1987

I picked this out of the Metal pile today..all shimano 105 couldn't let this one get crushed..
I just need to do a little clean up and add a seat and flip city..

With the weather warming the bikes will be coming ..so I was told at the Land fill by one of the workers..LOL

Oh if any one cares the Fuji ecco is a 1987..

Nothing surprizes me when I go to the land fill ..On the way there I had a good feeling...bingo it paid off .
I hope today is a good day..too.

I own a Fuji Ecco.
I bought it at a Goodwill for only $19.95 back in 1996.
This Goodwill priced all of their bicycles for $19.95.
Someone must accidentally donated this bike to the Goodwill and luckily no one working there knew it's value. I just saw a road bike with narrow tires and knew it was better than the other cheap K-mart brand bikes it was next to. I picked it up and it was light as a feather. So I bought it.

My question is, how much were these when they were brand new?

It looks just like the one pictured above but it's black with green lettering.
..and it has a seat.
