I think it may be 1950's, but I've never seen an ad for this bike. It doesn't appear to be an Austrian made model, the frame is not lugged, nor is the bottom bracket threaded. I know Sears also sourced bikes from England and France for some of their JC Higgins bikes, but I don't know who the makers were, or if this is even one of them. The head badge was rectangular, not oval like it was on many of the imported JC higgins bikes. Its also worth noting that it has wide fenders, and wide stays. I think it must have had "balloon" size wheels like 26x2.125.
Older style decal.
Press in bottom bracket cups. These are smaller than normal cruiser bearing cups. They are more like what you find on older European 20" bikes. The crank is a cottered type. The chain guard mounts are little tubes, which is pretty unique.
The dropouts are riveted in, another unique feature. The ends of the tubing are crimped and finished very nicely.
