Use Decals or Mask Paint?

I have this chainguard on my Spaceliner Muscle bike, and I was going to try and recreate these decals with masked rattle can paint, but should I just save myself the trouble and get the decals instead? I got an hour to make up my mind...

if it were me id save the money and just tape it out.just make sure you use fine line tape to mask the edges
but i dont know your patience levels or how accurate it needs to be(assuming the decals are spaced right to begin with)

That vent looks like you could make it out of black pinstripe tape....maybe :!:

I already passed, based on my desire to not spend about $30 on a minor cosmetic detail, considering how much money I have already put into the bike. Looks like I will be rolling up my sleeves and getting dirty on this one, far more gratifying. Thanks for the input though guys. It's good to save money too.
