A few different bikes in that pic. The Adler department store on the left was THE store in Savannah for decades. Leopold Adler started that business when he was a newlywed living in our house in 1873 after it was built by his father-in-law (Simon Guckenheimer).

Old photo of what would become the Crystal Beer Parlor in the 30s. The grandmother of my best friend growing up owned this place when I was a kid and lived in the top floor. I spent the night there a few times and remember being run out of the restaurant kitchen by giving us boys a plate of giant steak fries as long as we stayed in one of the booths in the restaurant.

Check out the killer Colson Clipper in this pic. No idea what town this was taken in.

A nice lady in my neighborhood has seen me riding and thought I'd like to know about her father who was quite the racer in the early 1900s. She sent me pictures of medals he won in League of American Wheelmen races and this photo. He went back to Italy for a few years (during WWI) where this was taken. He is wearing the GIL FANO jersey. Neat picture.

That 1st kid was clearly not happy with those horrible pants. Then... the kid in the beanie had to wait for a monkey.
