I will upload all my vintage shots to the thread including this one interesting photograph at night.
It is of my father and two other gunners. The pic was taken in Grafton, England at the 8th air force base in winter 1944
My cocky and confident dad is seen mocking the natzi salute from atop a cycle while the boys back his play.
Nothing remains of the base but the "Flak Shack", the men's barracks behind them, still stands in Grafton today... as a hay barn!
All those guys were cool as a fan and I have proof!
