Gah, so annoyed right now! Not only did they already have the worst commercials that are on every single break of the few TV shows I watch with the mind-numbingly catchy yet unlistenable songs that would get stuck in your head endlessly, now they have a new one that makes fun of having to ride a vintage Raleigh bike!
The goofy singer guy is walking out of a bike shop, past a row of shiny brand new bikes, then you see him ride by from the waste up, as he rhymes about being a lame deadbeat and not being able to afford his crappy car so he's riding a bike.
Partial lyrics:
"Now I'm rollin eco-friendly,
But I still look bad,
When the bike store saw my credit,
They said, 'This is all we have'"
And he's riding a shiny forest green mint-looking Raleigh, actually a pretty sharp ride. And everyone looks at him disapprovingly, including an elderly crossing guard lady.
Then he and the whole neighborhood of people on "nice" bikes ride around a park and look happy, I don't get it.
Stupid TV commercials.
I am going to go read a book.
