I spent most of an afternoon "truing" probably the worst two wheels that I have ever worked on . I was really pleased with how true I was able to get the front wheel. The rear was not as bad. After all the time spent on the front and some on the rear , I discovered frame damage that is probably beyond repair.

This is the bottom of the left side chain stay.I did not see it until I had the bike upside down.I was working on a Diamondback wildwood bike that I picked up a couple of months ago.

I liked the bike because of the shifters with the neat indicators.

just grind it out and weld in a repair.

Id put some 2 part metal epoxy in it and sand it done.

Personally I'd strip it of parts and transplant the parts onto another frame, but that's me.
