WATERSKIING?

Anybody ever tried it.

I go out every Tuesday night with my twin brother and a couple of friends. We have been doing this for 14-15 years. Last night was a beautiful night at the lake. Little boat traffic, hot weather and smooth water.

my wife refuses to pull me behind our boat ,( 15ft. with a 40 horse... gotta start on 2 and drop one :lol: ) so I only get to ski maybe twice a year when someone else is with us or when I get a tow from a real boat..

Looks like a good time! My sister and I pretty much grew up in a boat, she learned to ski when she was about 6 and I picked it up when I was 8.

never done water skies, but i did do the board (wake boarding? i think),and i had a hard enough time with that one, i couldnt even think about the skies. but i had to say, it was a blast!! feels like your going 100 on your own.

That is how I started. But now since we got our Ski Nautique in 1989, I have been spoiled.

I grew up in a boat too. Started in my grandpa's fishing boat. I even worked at a marina in highschool and college.

I haven't skied in over 20 years. I've never owned a boat. My parents did off and on as a kid. As an adult I would rent one when we'd go to Tablerock. I think that's the case below. Me in 1988...
