We all know duct tape works much better than electrical tape to repair rust.

Looks to be the ‘landing gear’ decal, not electrical tape.

Are you sure it’s coming from the inside? Not just under the chrome plating?

Sounds like a baby rattle, rust flakes inside the tubing - not sure how to get it out or just leave it. The stem wedge is rusted in place too, but on the brighter side it is an OG SE fork!?!

I’d leave it personally. They’re definitely older. The modern ones have different drop outs.. the rake is a little different on the old ones too, by comparison.
I have some modern ones if you wanna check em out sometime.

Hang it on the wall. I wouldn't ride that. Must have sat upside down for some time and condensation built up and didn't drain.
