These bikes will be for sale at the swap meet this Sat. at the Kent Armory...
I'm having trouble finding any information on these bikes. Here is what i do know...
The 26" Ladies Western Flyer, has a New Departure model D coaster hub, standard 1/2" chain, tension screws, truss rods, and a bicycle licence plate sticker that reads; Corvallis Oregon bicycle licence no. 1500 1957-1958. The badge on the bike reads "Western Auto Stores". The numbers on the bottom are hard to read, but i think they are... P611557 7 S76282. Any ideas?
The The other bike is a 24" boys bike. I think it's a western Flyer too...? But it has no head badge, and the numbers are buried under paint. It does have tension screws though, and a New Departure model D coaster hub. The front fender is NOT original. Also, it has standard 1/2" chain. Ideas?
