I found this Western Flyer at a flee mall Yesterday. 35 dollars and it was mine. I haven't started any research on it yet so any help would be appreciated.

wow... what a cool old cruiser! i betcha ya havent seen one like this b4, but i have seen that chainring on my 67' western flyer 3speed, which by the way was built in england (yours may be, too). generally, western flyer didn't actually make bikes, but sold other brands bikes off as their own, and in wf case, alot were murray or huffy built (with some by shelby, i think) but they also sold imported bikes as well.

3 piece cottered cranks and that same chainring as on my 67' wester flyer ("lightweight" english roadster) 3speed make my think it is at least from england, and i will just guess union royce or phillips as the maker. whatever it is, i absolutly love it, in all its... uniqueness. any other ideas out there?
