What Am I?-1950 Schwinn-DX?

Hello again-I need help with Identifying another Bike. This one is either pieced together or it was like this originally.

The parts in question-
6 Hole Rack-Was this schwinn?
The Rear fender is an unoriginal peaked fender
The Sprocket and crank may be unoriginal
The whole skiptooth setup may not be original
the seat is definatly not original
the front or back wheel is unoriginal

It looked like it did in fact at one time have a tank-there is wear where a tank would be...I dont know.

The owner is selling the bike! Make an offer if you are interested.

Definitely a standard skip sweetheart sprocket. That seat could be og if it's a Mesinger. Schwinn did use racks like that, but the fact it has double holes in the struts makes me think it's aftermarket, plus it looks to have been rattle canned green along w/the rear fender. Looks like a Hornet to me, should have painted S-2's if it's a 50. -Adam

Yeah, the Deluxe Hornet had the tank. That one looks restored, or the factory put that decal on at "beer-thirty"! :lol: Looks like it has the 6 hole rack too, can't see if it has double holes though! -Adam
