Expensive???
Any help is appreciated! I'd post in the "Wanted" section, but don't really know exactly what I'm lookin for. Help me out bros!

The rusty Monark in the 2nd pic would be a more likely find.b probably 25-100 bucks depending on design details and condition. More if you find a Deluxe with a head shroud. That one is probably a Rocket which would not have a shroud.

You have a better chance of seeing GOD.

Open your wallet WIDE if ya do find one.

Just sayin'

Its a CWC with a monark fork. I think it would have the 3 gill tank?

Heres another members bike, tank should look like this:

I'm pretty sure Monarks were a CWC product, if you get the right year the tank should fit. :|

Thanks! 8) I just don't know much about Colsons or CWC's. (or anything else for that matter!)

I'm planning on making one out of leather for my x-114 motobike build. you should try it since you tend to find parts at a better price when you are really not looking to buy!

Over at the CABE, there is a guy selling his lifelong collection of Colson bikes and parts.

Search for the sale by Bluetarp... and send him a message. be prepared to be patient, the seller is legally blind and is coordinating the sale thru another member.

I bet your Colson tank wont be cheap, but if anyone would have it... this guy would. He had my 1938 Colson chain guard

CWC never made Monarks

:? Perhaps I was confused by some brand they both supplied for or similarities, but I still think it'll be easier/cheaper to get a tank that works (not necessarily the correct one) for that one.

If you want to end up with a tank on your old restored cruiser, it's better to find a frame and tank together to start with. Saves a lot of time and money in the long run. Been there. Gary
