I pulled these 1/2" pedals off an old bike but I don't believe they were original equipment. Holding them in your hand they feel like really good quality pedals. Does anybody know if these were stock on a bicycle or an aftermarket product? Are they as good a quality as they seem? I appreciate any info I can get. Thanks and have a Happy Turkey Day!

Pretty common design "cheap" geared bike pedals from 70's on back. Good spinners, and way better than "cheap" plastic junk they make now. Had snap-on reflectors when new, often ditched to make room for toe-clips, or just to be cool.

union made pedals for schwinn, those should be the same thing as schwinn "rat trap" pedals (came on lightweights and rams horn fastbacks ... maybe more models too) except they dont have the schwinn stamped end cap on them. theyre good old pedals, but when they wear out theyre almost impossible to rebuild
