Two life long friends of mine got married today at their house right down the street from mine, so I rode this , I think it’s from build off 11 or 12

22 km = 13.6702 miles

13+ miles on a singlespeed cruiser, nice. The average American would fall over dead during a ride like that.

Strange how the area I live in fronts so hard on being green, yet the majority of the "proponents" of that faux-movement are the aforementioned average American. They turn a key to go anywhere or do just about anything.

Ride on, my Canadian friend.

Great autumn day in Melbourne today.
Too nice to be stuck in the office so I pumped up the tires on the kos and bombed around town for a couple of hours. I dropped 2 teeth on the rear sprocket but other than taking off a little slower I can still climb hills on it with my half century old knees.

22km on those inefficient knobby tires is definitely impressive but then again our Matti ain’t average.....😎

Another beautiful autumn day to be cruising around town. Photo of an old general store or Milk bar as we call them with old painted signs of 3 of our local newspapers. Nearby i found this old engineering workshop i remember as a kid. Could be an omen as I have a thing for cwc bikes.

Just built this up from a bike I found in the trash.
the intention was to build a disposable to use while on a cross country road trip in August.
South Florida to LA with my daughter.
we hope to hike, bike and camp at parks etc all the way.
Then I will give this bike to someone before I head back.
that was the plan, but it’s fun.
I think I’ll build up a 26” BMX when I get back.
Because every fat old man needs to ride like they are 12 sometimes.

Leaned out on an old tanker = WIN every time

Those are sweet!
Thank you. The Lotus is ridiculously light, sub-20# and she was unable to ride it for a while after being injured by a hit and run driver (she was in a motor vehicle when hit). The step-through Greenbriar I built up for her recovery will probably not see much action anymore, unless there is a threat of rain.

I have been getting into riding this one. The frame was given to me by a neighbor. He had picked it up years ago he said. It was a good chance for me to use up a lot of parts that I had accumulated over the years. I am told it is an old Micargi “Mustang” frame. 🇺🇸 Ride on!
