I spent yesterday riding with friends from the Old Bikes Club in Denver on my newly resurrected Elgin Motobike. The day started on the cooler side of the temperature spectrum but warmed up to 59° when the sun finally came out.
It turned into a beautiful day, the bike rode better than expected & my new hoodie from the concert the other night
proved itself as a high quality garment. I didn't want to stop riding!!

I saw them at CBGB in NYC. It was about a month before CBGB closed for good in 2006. It was a benefit concert to help keep the place open. Page signed my driver's license cuz it was all I had for him to write on. He's such a nice guy.

It was an incredible show! $45 for probably the best quality hoodie I've laid hands on. Perfect fit for my ridiculously long arms & super plush. Should have got 2 at that price. They opened for Clutch.

It was good to finally cross paths with you yesterday, Mister King!
Also good to get back down to the Bluz Cruz again, thanks to @Mr. Monkeyarms getting me to Denver and back up North again. Best part of the day was riding up Grant Ave Historic District to admire the architecture with the last five riders remaining. https://www.historicgrantavenue.org/

Fall colors run with the lady...
Just rode this around the block a few times after finishing a few-week-long semi-restoration. This bike is a joy. I hope it doesn't rain tomorrow so I can take it on a proper 20-30 mile ride.

OBC ride last Sunday
Then again Friday afternoon for a couple of hours.
Then again yesterday afternoon to take advantage of perfect weather before a cold front moves in.
Stopped at Scrumptious for a Coffee waffle cone toward the end of the ride.
Their mascot is always dressed for the season!

I need a double ring for up front, or maybe I should take the Dingle off the back.
Either way, it has plenty of clearance for fatter tires. That kind of hurts. Maybe new fatter rubber is in order.

As soon as I read "fatter rubber" I thought to myself, "Wait, what thread is this? You can't run fat tires in the skinny build off." Then I realized where I was, lol I got a one track brain some days.
