What is the Strangest Thing You Ever Found In a Bottom Bra-

I found gravel in the past and pondered how that might happen.

Today I took apart the BB of my 41 Colson frame and found several large sunflower seeds and half an acorn. I guess a bird or small mammal had somehow stashed them sometime in the last 70 years. :?:

well i know hooch had soybeans in desperados bottom bracket,i had grease this one time and was like 'whats this stuff?'

I guess my weirdest was I found a quarter in a bottom bracket. I wondered what was rattling. :lol:

I haven't found anything in a bottom bracket yet but I have found a lot of hair in the axles of girls' bikes after I take the wheels off. I always cringe when I see that. :shock: Someone had to say ouch!!! :lol:

last summer i took a tire off of a customers hybrid bike and dozens and dozens of silverfish came pouring out!

blowing the grips off a schwinn middleweight a dried up old mouse came shooting out of the handlebar one time......

.....but nothing in a bb except dirt, rust, water, and metal remnants that i can remember......

I once found half of a cigar inside the handlebar. Im guessing the old codger probably snuck out for a smoke break from time to time.

I have found notes, Which i returned to the original spots, out of respect to the last owners...

Metal shaving, Ive seen a few peanuts, Rocks, and dirt and grime.

In the handlebars, tons of dirt, cob webs, more notes, and pencils.

Nothing unnatural for me in the bb yet.

One time I was trying to get some handlebars separated from a stem... got the stem to let go of the center bulge of the bar after much trouble, cut the grip off to free the bars all the way, and some old wet cigarettes came out. They landed with a plop on my new shoes and left this funky orange stain that is still there, two years later

just mud dobbers, dirt, dried up grease, destroyed bearings. i found a pixie stick wrapper in a handlebar once though.

on a police auction bike i paid 8 bucks for i found 400$ worth of crack in the BB i fishlined the seatpost and found another baggie with stuff in it the funny thing is the bike was one of the things confiscated from a drug bust.
