What kind of paint??

Ok so I'm putting a sign board on my cruiser and of course it's being shot in flat black (primed and rattle canned) my question is I'm going to do some lettering and probably a Tiger Shark nose art but what type of paint will work the best?? By best I mean bright's most durable and that will stick and cover over the flat black. Now consider this is being done at home on a budget. Thanks
