What the heck is this ?

As I said in my introductuion, today I have bought an old cruiser, I have no idea of what it is. I hope you can help me with this problem. The salesperson told me it would be build in Chicago in the 1970's. There are no headbadges or any other names on it instead of the name Schwinn on the dynamo-lamp. The hub is a singlespeed Bendix with a red circle. I would just like to know what you are thinking.

Looks to be a Murray built bike from the early '60s . They were sold with many different badging , including the ever popular JC Higgins Flightliner .

With that chainguard, it is a JCH Flightliner, 1961 was the first year for the chrome frame. -Adam

Definitely Murray, I'd have guessed 1960's.

If the serial number on the left drop out starts with 502, it's a Sears 1960s Flightliner build by Murray. Post the full serial number and I'll try and help.
