WHAT THE HECK

OK, so a local shop closed down and I couldnt avoid givin money away, I picked up a lot of tires, and some other various parts. I found a set of tires for the trike but I have a lil problem, thought they were for 20" rims, uh, houston we have a problem, not gonna happen. They are between a 16 and 20, something like an 18, they are 3 wide, anyone know where I can get a pair of hoops or wheels to strip for my trike hubs. My hub is a 28 spoke and keyed for the axle on the town and country schwinn. If anyone's got a pair of hoops or rims give me a shout, I really want to get these relaced and start mocking it up for the frame build.

the schwinn fair ladys from the early to mid 80's...
some had 18" wheels(i think theres some bikes at toys r us or target that still have them also)

You can get 18 inch tires and tubes at WalMart. I think they still use them for some of the garbage kids bikes they sell...

You should tottally come on the saturday night cruise. We meet at the U of A at 10 pm and ride down 4th and around the Congress area. Off topic but I saw you were in the same town. I cleaned out Rouge Cycles felt tires. I got a set of thick brick tires in cream for only 25 bucks!

i've got an old ccm cougar that needs a 18x1-3/8x3" rear tire (20x1-3/8 on the front)
any idea's where i can get an old 18 ballon tire,

btw doesn't huffy have an 18/20 bmx? i imagen they sell 18's but they wont be the 3" ballon tire.

Hey Matt, yea I bought around 20+ tires off the Rouge myself, they only had one of the brick red left so I got a lighter greyish colored one and may do a 2 tone paint using the alternate colored tires. Got a banana seat for the western flyer I'm redoin, and a nice set of wide cruiser bars, gonna try and swing by this week and see whats left, maybe a some of the valve caps, and some grips.

Yea, I saw the hoops on bikepartsusa, figure I'll order a set up, I emailed Nirve though so I'm gonna see what they say, if nothing comes of it, i'll order the good ole import steelies, gonna get painted anyway. Thanx

Well Nirve tells me that they should fit on a 20" rim, so I guess i'm on my own to find the matching rims, I guess I'll have to gamble on the 18" from bikepartsusa. Thanx again gang.
