My Dad found this at the dump and said it was a spoke wrench. What is it?

I believe that is a 1920's spoke wrench. I just saw one on Copake's Auction, copake has a bycycle auction starting and there is some cool stuff on there.
I believe thier site is http://www.copakeauction.com
Thanks! I believe your right. Mine is a generic version of that Victor spoke tool shown on that website. My 86 year old Dad looked down at the metal dump and saw this tool. He said he remembered his father using such a tool. This is funny cause no one liked to see Grandpa with a tool in his hand let alone a steering wheel of a car. This is why that old farm boy mostly rode a bike.

Man what a cool old picture! And yes, I agree that's an old spoke tool. Universal fit. Nowadays they would like to sell you one for every size of different spoke nipple. And yet my $1.50 one from Benny's works just as well 90% of the time...

Thanks for sharing!

It's too bad that old pic is in such bad conditon, I'm not sure where in the family it is but it is of my grandfather Rufus around 1910- 1915 or so. Rufus had all kinds of universal fitting tools. I've got a small pocket size multi tool of his that I may just put them both on a plaque. Also got his old arch top wooden box that he use to keep his tools in it with RSC hand painted on top where I have been putting a bunch of old woodworking tools that I collect.
