When did Raliegh start making folders ?

I called on an add for a yardsale,as the guy says he has bikes in the add, so I ask what he has, 56 Raliegh folder, and a schwinn cruiser with a banana seat, $80 & $50 now all I need is some money :lol:

According to the internet the rsw16 (16" wheel model) was introduced in 1965 and the twenty (20" wheel model) was introduced in 1968.

That's right, no Raleigh folders in the 50's. More and more people are making up the year of bikes to get more dough from them, and they have no clue as to the age.

Well I looked and the Raliegh was very cool the sturney said 66 it even had fold up handlebars, but ,just couldn't do it right now :x
