Where did this come from?

I came home to find that someone had left this Murray Wesport ladies cruiser in my yard!?!? Not a neighbor or a friend, no note....just a bike. As you can see it's cleaned up really nicely. The paint is still shiney and the 2.25" whitewalls still hold air. I think it's an 80's model but could be late 70's?
It's heading for flip city via craigslist!

i have that bikes brother in my basement in dunsmuir. same color, tires, trim everything, except mine is a mens version. not a bad bike at all, although my tires were side rotted and i had to do some serious retruing of the rear wheel. now i figured that mine was a 93' from the type of components on it (tactum brakes, suntour subsidary, so that puts it post late 80's) and my interpritation of the sticker on the seat tube at the base of the bottom bracket. that is a later "headbadge" than the one on my 86' monterey, and that says its an 86' right on the headbadge.
